Kevlar and Tuff n Lite Cut Resistant Clothing
KEVLAR vs TUFF-N-LITE:
SRP offers cut suits in two cut resistant fabrics, Kevlar and
Tuff-n-Lite. Both are excellent at what they do. Many drivers have a strong
preference of one over the other; those in Tuff-n-Lite camp like it because it is
lighter and more flexible than Kevlar; whereas the Kevlar racers prefer it
because it has been around for a long time, is “battle tested”, and costs about
a third less than the Tuff-n-Lite. The choice of one over the other is pretty much a personal
and budgetary choice. Cut suits can be purchased in either material, and can be
in one-piece or two piece configurations.
One Piece Cut Suits
Our one piece Cut Suit offers full cut resistant protection for the torso as
well as arms and legs. It is the ultimate protection for the driver who wants
the best in a total coverage solution.
One
piece cut suit, available in Kevlar or Tuff-n-Lite.
Two-Piece Cut Suits
Cut Resistant Sleeves
SRP Cut Sleeves are available now exclusively in the Long Torso style.
The long torso tops provide coverage to the midriff level front and back, and
also have a tab collar on the neckline. This offers the most complete protection
in a two piece suit.

Cut Resistant Pants
On the cut pants, there are exclusively available in straight cut design.
The Z-Cut pants have been discontinued.

Safety Socks
SRP's Safety Socks are the newest solution to cut resistant footwear.
Made of a blend of lycra and a woven blend of Tuff-n-Lite, these
socks are light and comfortable. These will wear well under any type of shoe or
wetsuit bootie.
SRP Cut Resistant Gloves
These
gloves are woven of a combination of Tuff-n-Lite and
Lycra, offering maximum cut resistant protection combined with a stretchiness
and dexterity to allow unmatched comfort. The fabric used is a bulkier weave
than the SRP Safety Socks for extra thickness.
 The
gloves are available in three sizes, Small (ideal for youth drivers and
individuals with smaller hands), Medium and Large for larger handed drivers. If
desired, a D-Ring can be added on to the left glove for easy kill switch leads
for an additional charge. These gloves tend to run on the large side.
